Sportsbook Rules
1. Introduction and Scope
These Rules govern all betting activities conducted on the Jljl5 sportsbook platform. They apply to pre-match and in-play wagers placed by eligible clients, subject to applicable law and internal policies. By placing a bet, the client acknowledges understanding of these Rules and agrees to be bound by them and by any amendments published by the Company. The Company reserves the right to modify the Rules at any time with effect for new bets and to apply updated terms to existing bets in line with the published changes.
2. Definitions
- Line: The set of available bets and their associated odds for a given event as published on the platform at bet acceptance.
- Bet: An agreement between the Client and the Company under these Rules whereby funds are staked on one or more outcomes; a bet is concluded when the client deposits funds and the bet is accepted by the system.
- Outcome: A discrete result or component of a market on which a bet may be placed.
- Odds: The multiplier applied to the stake to calculate potential payout; final odds may reflect event-specific adjustments or post-event changes.
- Bonus balance / Real balance: Separate funds; real balance is used first for wagers; winnings may be credited to the bonus balance; bonus funds remain subject to wagering requirements and restrictions.
- Company: Jljl5, the operator of the sportsbook.
3. Bets and Line Acceptance
- Bets are accepted on the Line published at the time of bet acceptance. Bets are generally accepted before the event start; live bets are accepted for events in progress in accordance with live betting rules.
- Live bets: Live bets may be accepted on events that have begun and are ongoing. The odds for Live bets update in real time and may vary between selection and acceptance.
- Issues and Disputes: Contested bets or settlement issues must be raised within 30 days after the event ends; unresolved disputes will be closed after this period.
- Line changes: The Company may modify odds, handicaps, totals, maximums, and other line details at any time. Bets placed before a change are subject to the terms in effect at bet acceptance; bets placed after the change use the updated line.
- Maximum and minimum bets: The Company sets minimum and maximum stakes per event and bet type; these limits may be adjusted without prior notice.
- Void bets and rules of acceptance: A bet on an event whose result is already known at acceptance is void and must be returned; bets on events that do not occur or are indefinitely postponed may be void or refunded; bets placed from the Prematch line after the event start are settled at odds of 1.0 unless specified otherwise.
- Account restrictions: The Company may close or temporarily block accounts, for example for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Rules; the Company may restrict bet activity or impose limits without notice.
- Prohibition on duplicate bets to bypass limits: Clients may not place multiple identical bets on the same match to circumvent betting limits; violations may attract additional restrictions or blocking of the account.
4. Settlement, Corrections and Disputes
The Company will settle bets based on official results wherever available. If the official result is not published, the Company may settle using credible data from officially recognized sources. If a market price or information is published with an error, the Company reserves the right to void or correct affected bets and re-settle as appropriate.
The Company is not obligated to accept bets based on prices displayed on third-party sites where those prices differ from the live published line. The Company may void bets if outcomes are interdependent but not accounted for by the system. Settlement decisions are final unless a formal re-settlement is required due to errors or regulatory processes.
5. Bet Types and Market Structures
The following bet types are available on the Jljl5 platform, with standard market formats described below. All settlements are subject to the rules on official results and any sport-specific rules published for the event.
- Single: A bet on a single event outcome. Payout equals stake times the chosen odds.
- Multiple: A bet on the outcomes of two or more unrelated events. All selections must win for the bet to succeed; if any selection fails, the entire bet loses. Payout is computed by multiplying the stake by the odds of all selections.
- System: A bet comprising multiple related bets of the same stake on a set of outcomes. Payouts are calculated for each constituent bet; each is paid or voided independently.
- Conditional: A chained bet where only the main part is paid, and subsequent parts are settled from the winnings of the main part. The main part must win; if it loses, dependent bets fail. Events in the chain cannot repeat from the first part.
- Restrictions on market composition: It is prohibited to include events relating to the same match in Multiple or System bets; if such events are included, the bet may be refunded.
- Final odds: Winnings are calculated using final odds applicable at settlement after any adjustments for event-specific rules, postponement, or date transfer as described in the Line; in cases where any part of the event is unsettled, odds may be adjusted or set to 1.0 where appropriate.
- Overround and dead heat: Where two or more selections tie, the dead heat rules apply; stake distribution is adjusted accordingly.
- Common market formats: Moneyline (Winner), Draw, Handicap (Point spread), Over/Under (Total), Correct Score, Half-time/Full-time, and other standard formats. Settlement follows official results and the definitions published for the market.
6. Live Betting
Live bets are accepted for events in progress and are settled according to official results immediately after the event ends or at the point of result confirmation. Live odds update in real time and may move between the moment you select a bet and the moment you place it. Bets placed on events that are interrupted, abandoned, or whose results become unavailable within the event window may be voided or settled at odds of 1.0 where applicable.
Claims for Live bets must be submitted within 24 hours of the start of the event. If a match is abandoned or not completed within 48 hours of its start, bets on that event may be voided or refunded at 1.0 unless a winner is declared.
The date and time shown for a market indicate the end of bet acceptance for that event and is not necessarily the event’s actual start time. All users must comply with these Rules to participate in Live betting. The Company may suspend or block Live betting access where required for integrity or security concerns.
7. Bonuses and Balance Management
- Two balances: Real balance for regular bets; Bonus balance for wagers subject to wagering terms. Winnings from bonus funds are credited to the bonus balance and may be subject to wagering requirements before withdrawal or use of funds elsewhere.
- Use of funds: Bets may be placed from either balance; real balance is the default source; when the real balance is zero, wagering may proceed using bonus funds subject to the bonus terms.
- Conversion and settlement: If a bet is placed from bonus funds that later convert to real money, the settlement of that bet is governed by the wagering terms applicable to the bonus funds; a bet placed from bonus funds that are later converted to real money may be restricted in its settlement in accordance with the bonus policy.
- Using bonus funds: If a client does not wish to use bonus funds, they may place bets using only real funds. The current available real funds can be checked at any time in the user’s balance display.
- Restrictions on bonus bets: When using an active bonus, it is forbidden to bet on more than one outcome within the same market within a single event. Violations may lead to cancellation of the bonus and associated winnings and may result in additional limits or account restrictions.
8. Eligibility and Prohibited Conduct
The Company prohibits bets from individuals who do not meet the applicable age requirement for gambling in their jurisdiction, or from individuals who participate in events in which the bet pertains (for example, athletes, officials, or other participants). Employees or affiliates of other bookmakers and individuals who seek to exploit the platform’s rules or engage in manipulative betting may be restricted or blocked. Automated betting or bot-like activity detected by the system may result in account restrictions or closure.
9. Price Integrity and Adjustments
- We reserve the right to adjust or void prices if an incorrect price is published or if a market contains incorrect information. Settlements may be recalculated or voided at our discretion.
- Markets are settled on the official results; where official results are unavailable, the Company may rely on credible sources to determine outcomes. On occasion, changes in event status or completion can cause adjustments to the line and odds; the Company’s decision in such matters is final.
- Outright markets: Outright selections are settled for all listed participants; non-participating selections are settled as a loss unless otherwise stated. Where two or more places are tied, a dead heat rule applies and the stake is distributed in proportion to odds; any remaining stake is treated as a loss.
- Live odds: Odds presented in the live section reflect the current progression of the event and may change; settlement is based on the result confirmed by official sources or by the Company’s internal statistics when permitted by these Rules.
10. Disputes and Disclaimers
The Company reserves the right to settle disputes and make determinations on a per-bet basis in circumstances not explicitly covered by these Rules or sport-specific rules. The English version of these rules is the official version where translations are provided. Settlement is subject to regulatory oversight and internal auditing processes. Any decision by the Company is final and binding.
11. Sport-Specific Rules and Common Market Formats
Specific sports may have additional rules published separately. In the absence of such sport-specific rules, the general Rules herein apply to all events. Common market formats include:
- Winner/Draw/Win: Market identifiers such as Home, Draw, Away; standard outcomes defined by the sport’s governing body.
- Handicap / Spread: A designated advantage or disadvantage applied to one side to equalize chances; settlement occurs when the adjusted result determines the winning side.
- Over/Under (Total): Bets on whether the total points/goals scored in the event will be over or under a published total line.
- Correct Score / HT-FT: Predicting exact final scores or half-time/full-time outcomes where applicable.
